Are some things in the universe just too complex to be the result of random events or Darwinian evolution? Is there proof of an "intelligent designer" at work in the universe? Is "intelligent design" a viable scientific theory, on par with Darwin's evolutionary theory? Since 1999, when the first IDEA ("Intelligent Design and Evolution Awareness") Club was founded at UC San Diego, 20 more IDEA Clubs have sprung up at college campuses around the nation. Is this an idea whose time has come, or is it just an effort by conservatives to infuse religion into the classroom? Hear from both sides of the intelligent design debate on Thursday's Full Focus.
