Bio: Shane Eric Sanders: Born in Pequannock, NJ at Chilton Memorial Hospital and raised in West Milford, New Jersey was raised Protestant (Presbyterian) in between traveling back and forth between his divorced parents' homes at six years old. He went to Maple Road Elementary School and excelled in everything, with the special gift of music. He played trombone in fifth grade after learning the recorder, but quit in sixth grade because he was so embarrassed because people said the trombone was bigger than him, since he was short, if not the shortest person in his grade. He was also in chorus, went to select chorus and sung in his choir at church. He starred in the fifth-grade play, "Robin Hood in the '90's", his church's presentation of "So Long Joe", and co-starred in the church's "Timothy, Silas and Paul." Though his real teachers and choir director treated him awesome, certain students were not so kind, which he claims led him to quit everything, including Boy Scouts and baseball, which he was an all-star in, favoring pitching and second-base, and batting between first and third in the line-up if he wasn't late. He'd say it was because of what some of the athletes said "under their breaths". His mother married her second time to a welder/biker who played guitar and sung. Meanwhile, his father across town was planning on getting him his first acoustic guitar, even though Shane moved out to live with his mother in seventh grade. After he got his guitar, his step-dad gave him lessons, and in weeks he was playing "Stairway to Heaven" and "Moonshadow", literally. Amazing his family and friends, he decided to stick with it and picked up the keyboard, practicing on his own so much that he "drove his friends out of the house." This new obsession turned into a passion. Shane, who never had much money, set out to learn and play. He worked at his mother's title insurance agency after graduating High School in 2004, and saved up to buy a laptop with wireless capabilities, since he knew how to learn more music on the computer. After quitting that job, he worked at D.R. Strings for a few months, making guitar strings by hand, which got his foot in the door of the industrial side of the music industry. At home, his parents both remarried, had their own issues that Shane did not want to be a part of, so he played even more in his spare time to stay out of the crossfire. Shane slacked in school from fifth grade through twelfth. He had a broken spirit. But on his journey, shamed, he met saints, musicians, officers, clergy, businessmen and entrepreneurs. During the summer of 2005, Shane was featured on the keyboards, guitar, drums and vocals of an underground alternative CD starring "Bebop and Rocksteady", that only his close friends and family knew about. Motivated, he made his laptop a recording studio and sharpened his computer skills, writing songs without his stepdad, since his mother divorced a second time. In 2008, Shane went to Creation for the first time. Now he works part-time at UPS as a loader/unloader/sorter and wants to go to the Community College of Morris to major in Music Recording, to succeed as a star singer/guitarist/keyboardist/songwriter.
