Prayer Driven Ministries began in 1994 in response to pastor Mike Martin's increasing concern for the prayer life of his fellow Christians. It seemed to him, there needed to be a place where prayer requests could be shared, anonymously if necessary, without fear of judgment from fellow believers. The ministry web site, PrayerNeeds.Org, was launched in 1999.

The ministry of Prayer Driven Ministries started with just one weekly prayer gathering, Christians gathering to share the burdens of their heart with God. Almost ten years later, our web site can be accessed anytime from anywhere there is an Internet connection. The web site makes available the opportunity to either share a request for prayer or to pray for the many prayer requests that are posted to the web site on a daily basis. There are even opportunities to serve the ministry in a formal way as part of the prayer team.
