Who likes to write? I do! I love to write scifi fiction and paranormal fiction about creatures that I created called sensors and shadows. When writing I'm telling who I am or who I want to be, things I want to do or wish I could do. It's a release for my worries and my fear, it's a way to make important truths known to a otherwise dead world. Not only is it all the above, it's my calling and purpose to use words to bring others to God and give them truth in a format that will reach them instead of condem them.
In Morningstar Academy when I write a disscussion board or journal entry I do it to get a good grade and most important to me: to impact the readers life in someway that changes them to do better.By doing this I hope to right the wrong of words being abused. Words are abused today in the worst way, text speak, cursing in T.V and movies are the one that come to mind at 11:34 at night. by writing clean articles and stories it shows that clean can be fun. When all you do is cuss your showing that you don't have a vocabulary or if you do you think cussing will make you seem cooler.
So how do you use words? Do you think before you talk or just spout off things that get you into trouble later and make you think " Why did I say that?" The Bible tells us life and death are in the power of the tounge..so do you curse people or bless them? I can say I'm learning to watch my words and make them mean something than just have them out there.
And now to complete fiction. I believe that what we write and how reveals alot about us. My question is what do you write, where do you get ideas, would you want to share some of your work in a group?
I already answered the fist one so for #2 I get my ideas from the photos on DeviantArt (I'm an addict for that website! I need a 12 step program, seriously!) . #3 I would like to read and share my work, I love to get to know people that way and help them polish their work and them polish mine.
