GRANDMA’S CHOCOLATE CAKE
This is a recipe from my great, great grandma and it tastes really yummy!
Ingredients for the cake:
2 Cups flour
2 Cups sugar
1 Cup boiling water
1 Cup margarine or butter
3 Tablespoons cocoa
2 eggs
½Cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking soda
For the Frosting:
2 Cups confectioners sugar
1½ tablespoons cocoa
3 Tablespoons milk
½ Cup margarine (or butter)
Melt margarine, add the rest of the ingredients and mix well. Put on cake right out of the oven so that it melts over top.
