I really want to create this group to encourage girls to begin to love themselves, just the way the are. In reality, every girl is made in God's perfect hands and he shapes us and molds us into the people that we are supposed to be. Every girl and woman was put on this earth for a certain purpose and that is what makes you unique.

I am 15 years old and I have noticed how the media has distorted our view on "Perfection." There is a certain height, weight, hair color, eye color, talent, that is classified to perfection. Imagine if every girl ages 13-18 looked exactly alike! I am not "average" and I am perfectly okay with that. My heart is filled with the love of Jesus Christ and that is all that truly matters.

I understand that right now, beauty seems to be a constant compotition for who can afford the best clothes, fit into the most stylish clothes...and so on. It's sad really. God has instilled this feeling in my heart to get this message across. This group is all about being unique and being proud of who you are. I want this group to be a safe, positive, encouraging, loving place for girls of all kind of shapes and sizes, and beauty, can come to share their love of God.

The motto for this group will be, "Confidence is Beautiful." I think when a girl has a smart head on her shoulders, she can accomplish anything her heart desires. It's time we look past what this world expects of us. What is "average." We are all built differently but we are ALL loved by God. He made us in his image and we are here to fufill his purpose for our lives. Hopefully this group will help you find your true inner beauty and give you the confidence to face the world head on.
